Meet the Principal
I was born and raised in San Jose and began my educational journey at San Jose State University, earning a degree in Child Development. I later completed my teaching credential at CSU Stanislaus and began my career in the Central Valley, teaching a range of grades and supporting students as a Reading Coach and Special Education teacher. During that time, I earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and later an Administrative Services Credential.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve served as both a teacher, a Vice Principal and Principal at the elementary and middle school levels. In 2017, my family and I returned to the Bay Area, where I’ve continued my work as a school leader.
My passion for education began with a love of early literacy and has grown into a commitment to creating inclusive, nurturing environments where all students can thrive. I am committed to ensuring that all children have the right to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment where they feel safe, valued, and limitless in their potential. I am honored to serve as the principal of McCollam Elementary and look forward to partnering with families, staff, and the community to support the success of every student.
Sincerely,
Linda D. Sepulveda
